Default upgrade my jrsc pulley???? yeah or neah??

I have a 99 civic si with the standard 6 psi pulley, i want to upgrade to 8 or even 10 psi and was told to do so, use a CRV pulley... do i need the civic belt, fuel pump and parts? or just the PULLEY along with the upgrade PARTS (belt, fuelpump, ect. ) ???? Please help...also, is the extra 4psi of boost really worth the 600 bucks or should i just save my money???
thanks

don't pay more than $100 for a Crv/LS pulley (same). It's worth it if you have a hondata. If you have a FMU good luck... i wouldn't do it.
get a hondata s200b and RC 440's and some tuning.
Steve

PS every PSI on a JRSC is recognizable... until it over 50 degrees outside.

There going to tell you everything I told you. FMU is fuel management unit.

If you're still running the stock pump, your engine is on borrowed time.

The CRV crank pulley will overdrive your accessories. I used the 4.0" blower pulley. That's the stock pulley for the GS-R and it's pretty easy to get one.

Running more boost with the stock JR "fuel management" is pretty iffy though...

ok ok, let me get this straight...... First of all the pulley is the actual pulley on the Supercharger????? also if i did decide to go with the CRV pulley, everything else that should be changed is the Belt, Fuel pump and timing accesories, which are for a civic, just the pulley is from the CRV, correct?????
Also if wanted to use the GSR pulley how much boost am i roughly looking at???? RIght now with the stock pulley for an si, reads at 6psi.....
thanks........

ok let me try to clear it up for you...
you have three options from what i've read in the past to raise boost:
1) change your crank pulley (to a larger diameter) (which also overdrives your ac, powersteering, and alternator)
2) change your alternator pulley (since its between the sc and the motor as far as belts are concerned, a larger diameter on the sc side of the pulley would spin the blower faster.)
3) change your supercharger pulley (to a smaller pulley)

Option 4) Ls crank pully = 1psi and won't overdrive your accessories,
plus 3psi alternator stepper pulley,
= 10-11psi

ok... so the larger altenator pulley is made from Jackson or from Honda?????? Also i am still confused on what EXACTLY I will need for the 10 psi...
Right now I have forged Je pistons at 10.5:1,Forged rods, bearings, bolts, the whole head is re-done, (bigger valves, Springs, seats, ect,) and a balance and blueprint, also a V'afc vtec controller........... So THat means I should need
1. Bigger fuel pump?
2. Ls pulley, and bigger alternator pulley(which i dont know where to purchase one)
3. Injectors?
4.Fuel rail?
5. Computer to retard the timing?
About how much will all of this run me??????
Thanks to everyone who is helping my unknowledable Questions!!!!!!!!!
