What turbo can you guys recommend for a daily driver b16a stock motor?

 

250-300whp daily.

garrett or borg turbo? t3t4

 

I would go with a T3/T4b garrett with a .63 a/r hotside.

 

Better yet, go to turboneticsinc.com and look for their turbomatrix. They can give you a better idea.

And where in MIA are you?

 

i run a masterpower t3/t4 on mine. .63 hot, .50 cold, and 57 trim wheel. i like it, but i could stand for it to spool a little quicker. here's some pics of my pos.

Yea, I was thinking it might not spool quick enough (you're only working with 1.6 liters), so I was also gonna recommend a .48 a/r stg III wheel, which will spool SUPER quick, and it will support about 400whp. Thats pretty f*ckin healthy, if you ask me.
