hi all, looking to build block, for boost of 15-18psi on a t3/t4 turbo on a h23 motor.

i was personally thinking of 8.5:1 because its a daily driver and i want to keep low end torque

9.0:1 is a nice happy medium for a turbo set-up.

I run 9.0:1 with 20psi sofar, this summer I plan on running roughly 25-28psi though with the same cr. Alot of guys are now starting to run 10.0:1 cr's since they yield a bit more power. Keep in mind it will slightly lessen your saferange when it comes to tuning and detonation.

if you want to keep torque/low end, don't even think about going below 9:1

9.5-10:1 C/R, don't forget that Honda's are efficient motors. Anything below 9.0:1 and you've just got a slug with a turbo.

Meh, I can fry the tires at 2300rpm's easily in second gear on a dry day. He has 3000 cc's more than me. You can make low compression motors like mine at 7.8:1 work well at low rpm's, especially with 2.3L.
