Default what trim? what A/R?

ok this is prolly one of those questions that most of you will look at and go DOH! but i am working on my first turbo project and need some information and opinion.

I plan to boost a stock y7 to 7 pounds on a hondata s200 tune. i need help picking out the turbo. i have everything else already. I need one with a 5 bolt flange and i was gonna go with a t3/t4.

Can someone point me in the right direction on what trim i need. 46? 50? 54? 57? And why?

What A/R? .48? .63? and why?

Links will be fine as im sure this has already been answered but i dont know how to word it in search to find anything helpful. thanks in advance.

im still undecided between the 50 57 and 60 trim with 63 a.r exhaust housing turbocharger to put on my y8....

the 57 trim is real common on most turbo d setups ive seen.....

57 trim with 63 a/r that is......

.48 stage III/ 46 trim to4e
Why? The .48 will provide a quick spool and a reasonable top end on the d-series. The stage III and V t3 turbine wheels are better suited for to4 comp wheels, leave the standard and stage II for the t3 compressors. The 46 trim is a good match for your engine, both non inc and inc, with the potential for more power with raised boost, within reason. This is not the final verdict, I strongly suggest other opinions before purchase. I do'nt even own a turbo honda(I have a turbo vw), but am pretty good at sizing a turbo.

i want a quick spool cuz im using it on a y7 motor so it doesnt rev as high and has a longer tranny. so i think im gonna go with .48 A/R and i am still undecided on the trim. im thinkin 46 maybe
