Default what trim t25 turbo for a d series?

i got a hks manifold for a d series from a friend and it has a t3 flange welded on, but it was welded in a way that i can take it off and us teh t25 flange thats still there.

would a mitsu 1g t25 turbo be good for that manifold? i am lookin for around 250 whp on a d16y8 or what specs should i look for on a garret t25, i found this one for 350 bucks new "The A/R on the exhaust side is .89 and the compressor side is .48" are those specs any good?

and if i use a mitsu turbo , do i have to water cool it also? or can i just use oil cooling

the DSM t25 uses a square flange w/ a round hole. I think the HKS manifold uses a rectangular flange with a rectangular hole. It looks like a smaller T3. I just sold a t25 with an .80ar comp and .64 ar turbine. It was for an sr20det motor and had the rectangular t25 flange. I have a smaller t25 with a .48 ar (I think) turbine on my d16z6. it is very responsive but lacks topend.

I am putting one of the .89 & .48 t25s on a d16z6 in the next month or so. shouldent top out as easy as mine i guess. I'll see soon.

Water cooling is optional on any stock or aftermarket turbo. just get a turbo timer and you will be all set.

are you using the one i was talking about, .80 comp? I am putting the one I sold on a dohc ZC in an HF. should be a really mean street setup. Do you know if there is a DP flange you can buy or will i have to make one?

Im not positive which comp the one im going to use is......... im positive that its the jdm t25 that came from the silivias or sr20det motors....... here is a link for the flange an HT member hit me up with. Im actually tryin to figure out if this one will work the the internal wastegate or not........ it seems as though it is tapered down to flow the waste gate gases back into the rest of the exhaust stystem........ hopefully someone could verify this, if not i will email the company.

yea i cant wait to get my setup done, the hf is soo light and i hear the zc responds awesome with boost....... anyways heres the link.....
