Default What are some of the notorious issues with the Deltagate?

I think mine took a ****. I don't drive it that often, but last weekend it wouldn't hold boost. I was driving on the low boost setting on my Profec B which is set at 7psi and it would go up to 10psi before I'd let off the gas. Even with the Profec B off it would boost up to 10 before letting off. Is this one of the tell tale stories of the shitty Deltagate.

Also, I forgot to mention, that it's holding boost but is erratic. It will vary between 6 and 8 psi.

The only sound I know is the tinging sound they make when being thrown in a metal garbage can.

They are crap. Replace it with a Tial. youw on't regret it.

They creep all the time. I had the problem switched to Tial, creep gone. Many others have had the same problem.

I've had mine for 3 years and have gone up to 23 psi on many ocassions with no problems. I've heard many complain, but never had any problems.

Mine is connected correctly, it has worked fine for the past year and a half.
I'm just trying to find out if one of the problems with the Deltagate is the spring or flap freezing shut.

mine would not hold steady boost after 12psi,it started going down in high rpms

they say after 300whp they start craping out

are you guys make over 300whp on it

now i got a 35mm tial with .8bar spring

they break. they are made by turbonetics so what would anyone expect. quality has gone down hill. i have a broken one here at the shop right now. also boost creep is another issue. i wouldnt use one but if i had one i would stay around 10-14psi tops.
