Default what size turbo for an ls

yes i tried searching.... but it is hard when you cant use "ls"

i would like you guys to post up your turbo size/specs. what psi you run, what your WHP is and when the turbo spools up.

Thanks.

i agree with you that the > 3 character limit on searches sucks, however you might find more answers if you search by motor instead of trim. try "b18b". i didnt look closely at the results but it came up with a lot.

T3/T04E get one with a .63 ar and either a .57 or a .60 trim.

i don't have much experience with a .60 trim but i love my .57 trim and gonna stick with it until i have enough for a BB turbo.

off topic, how reliable/long will an LS motor on 8psi last?

My friends think, if I ran that setup, I will be good for 10,000 miles and need a rebuild ????

The short answer to you question is there is no answer. Every motor is different. The #1 thing you can do and I mean #1 above ALL ELSE is get tuned! Get good fuel management and get a good tuner!

Yup, your friends need to do a little more research. With the right tuning and a conservative amount of power you can last a lot longer than 10, 000 miles. **** i think my brother lasted 30, 000 miles on his gsr at 7psi w/ no problems. the only reason he rebuilt was for high hp.
