what size oil restrictor to use?

Default what size oil restrictor to use?

i have a garrete journal bearing turbo thats going on a gsr with a type r oil pump. im not sure what size restrictor to run and where to order it from.

gt 28r 30r and 35r is a .035 ....i have one for 20 shipped...bnib

.035 recommended for BB turbos.

I use .065 on non-BB turbos.

The most common size on a journal bearing is the .065". That's what I used for my Garrett "super 60."

i dont use a restrictor and run a -3an line without any issues on my journal bearing sc61.

Oil pressures vary slightly for every engine. Some need it, some don't.

measure oil pressure at the turbo. if your seeeing over 60-65 psi oil pressure you need a restrictor and for journal bearing already stated .065. Function7 makes a nice one. Been running mine for 6 years on 3 different turbos
