Precision turbocharger Oil restrictor?
Hi, i have to build a turbo kit for a s2000, never used precision turbocharger really, everything garrett , and i was wondering if these turbochargers require oil restrictors too, turbocharger is 6266.

The need for a restrictor is entirely based on the maximum oil pressure the engine produces.
that being said basically every Honda requires a restrictor due to the high oil pressure they produce.

Just keep 3an line if is journal my buddy has 6266 and he put .65 restrictor not even 100 miles it messed up. Only sharing that experience the tech at precision said not to put resistor

All precision and Garrett turbos need a .065 restrictor for non ball bearing turbos and a .035 restrictor for ball bearing turbos on a honda engine.

ball bearing yes. On all my journal bearing I run 3an no restrictor I see over 100psi oil pressure on my motor. never smoked
