At what point is it needed to go bigger then 3" on the exhaust? I'm going to be running a T61 and I'm looking for 600whp. Also, what muffler do you guys recommend? I was looking at the borla xr1 or a moroso spiral flow...

i would run 3inch with an electric cutout the ecutout will do you right when you need that extra free flow for racing.

600 WHP, if you have the room to step up to 3.5" by all means go for it.

 

I have the room for 3.5" I just wasn't sure if it was needed. What muffler do you guys recommend?

 

Definitely need at least a 3 inch for that power level.

you'll have to get a muffler by itself if you want to go 3.5"

Check some of the supra stores they would be the best place since those boys run larger than 3" exhausts some times.

I'm not sure what to do about clamps because I'm not going to waste my $$ on v-bands. There nice, but I just need something that works well.
