What should I do?(which block)
I don't konw which block to get. I can either get a Darton 84.5mm block for $2500, or a b18a Golden Eagle 84mm block for $1200. I am thinking of going GE because it is a way better price (money does play a role), but I have heard horror stories of peoples sleeves sinking from GE. What do you guys think I should do. Keep in mind this is going with my Ls/Vtec turbo setup.

I dont have a block to send (I just blew my B18A motor). The $2500 was not just for sleeves, it is for a Darton block bored out and finished honed. Golden Eagle's price is just way cheaper.

What, you figure an LS block is going to be 1500 dollars in the junkyard to bring Exospeed's 1000 dollars for sleeving on par with the 2500 dollar already sleeved block? You can buy a built motor with sleeves/pistons/rods from Laskey/Benson without a core for a few hundred more than that!

Re: What should I do?(which block) (boosted92)
For some reason I'm thinking the $2500 is a DART block not a Darton sleeved block.
Anyways, we do a full Sleeve work with Arias pistons, Eagle rods, Honda Oil pump, Honda bearings, blueprinted, micropolished crankshaft, file fit rings, bore, hone, hot tank, deck, Honda bottom end gasket kit(main seal, oil pickupgasket, oil pan gasket, etc) and final assembly for about $2850.00
You have a choice of bore size you want, compression from the off the shelf pistons. You can even upgrade to diff rods(Carrillo Pro-SA, Pro-H, Pauter, etc) for a bit more.
and we can Supply block cores, depending on what is available at the time.

I called Laskey/Benson last night and talked to them. They answered all of my questions. I am definently going with them, they had an awsome block steup. Thanks for your input guys.
