WHAT RODS????
I would not go the eagle route as I have seen several of them flex in the big end when you puch rhe revs to 10 k and are puching 350-500hp..
It is cheap insurance to get something better..
I have evan seen the eagle big end out of round at a stock b16 rpm limit puching around 300hp after a season..
If you plan on alot of horse power around 500.. I would go with manley and get the
arp L19 or 625 series rod bolts..
I don+t know if the eagle arp 2000 rod bolts are different than the other arp 2000 bolts but the eagle ones are crap anyway..

Now, are those on Hondas? On all of honda-tech you'll only find 3-4 bad eagle rods, and there are tons of people that use them. I don't feel bad for people pushing them past 500whp or to 10k, that's like using an ebay turbo in a SFWD...

you will be just fine with Eagles at 500 hp though if you wish to upgrade to a higher hp rated rod such as a manley turbo tuff or carrillo it wont heart anything. It will just be more money out of your pocket. GL
eagles would probably be ok but like i always say if your gonna build it do everything right while the motor is apart so you never have to worry about something failing
I have custom made JG rods in one of my motors, Manley rods in another, and eagles in another they all work perfectly no problems at all.

+1. If your going to buy rods, just shoot for the best. Manley and Pauter are greats rods for 800+whp.
