Default eagle rods

i seen a ad for eagle h-beam rods that said the could handle 900hp, is this true
if not what are they rated at

i did a bit of seaching but didnt come up with the right anwser
sorry i am shure it has came up before considering these are pretty popular rods

Well when i called eagle about the two different rod bolts they offered here is what i came up with.

Smaller rod bolts are good for 650hp and 8500-9000 rpm lower rpm pending power output.

Larger rod bolts which is a totally different bottom end design according to eagle is good for 900hp an 9-9500rpm.

People have reved higher on them. My buddy has GSR with eagle rods and larger bolts and weve tuned it so far to 9k rpm on 15 psi boost with and sc61 with no issues what so ever. I also ran them on my built LST to 8500 rpm making 450whp on the smaller bolts with no issues at all

Basically any rod will break. It all matters on the tune and how well the bottom end is constructed

Thats just what i was told from the rep at eagle when called.

OP just reas the most recent eagle rods thread in this forum an you'll get your answer. besides rod bolts break before the rod does
