Ok, I hooked up my GE vacuum manifold, I tapped into the brake booster line on the car side of the check vale (for a cleaner look). Don't do this you will get slow and odd response from your boost gauge. Fixed that, but their is a hard plastic restrictor thing in the booster line close to the intake manifold, it was red. I need to get one of these b/c I lost it. I'm tapped in on the engine side of the check valve now (good). But I need to find this little red flow restrictor thing b/c at idle if I punch the brakes I get a small response on the boost guage and a small increase in idle. It bugs the **** out of me, I gotta fix it. I hope somebody understands what I'm talking about. Thanx

 

its a check valve. you not suppost to go on the brake booster side of it cause it doesnt let boost by.
