What oil?
I have read the responses and polls about what oil to use in a turbo'd Honda. I'm currently running a turbo b16 and after reading the posts and information on websites, I'm thinking of switching to conventional non synthetic oil. My question is, where there be any ill effects to running non synthetic now when for the past 20k miles I have been using synthetic? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Re: What oil?
everyone has a different opinion on what oil to use, bottom line is if you change it often if your hard on the motor you will be fine with dino or synthetic. Myself i run nothing but Mobil1 15w50 race oil in my turbo motors, cars, bikes you name it.
to further answer your question you can switch if you want if price is an issue but keep in mind synthetic can will not break down as fast as dino oil so you will need to replace the dino oil more frequently. You should check out walmart they have good prices on a big 5qt jug of the mobil 1 oil.
cheers

Re: What oil?
Moblie one I tryed Royal Purple one time for me both and on my next oil change it seemed really thin and i change oil every 2k. Not worth the 8 buck a quart to me. Moblie best for price i think.
