Default Oil Grade

What oil grade is recommended when using a turbo? I've always have used castrol syntec 10w 30, But now that aim going turbo it will heat up the oil more than it did before. What should I use? And is it still oil change every 3000 or now is it less? Also Miami weather is hot so take that into consideration.

10W-30 is good. I would make the move to synthetic however. Mobile 1 or your choice. 3000 mile oil changes are fine.

Syntheic is not something u have to get, I use to use mobil 1 but it seem to burn to quickly. I switched to part synthetic 10w 30 and it has been running great with no oil burning since. PLus synthetic is so damn expensive you can get part synthetic for about half the money per quart.

So then it looks like ill just use the same oil as ive allways used castrol syntec 10w 30. the only thing I might do then is a oil cooler kit. cheap insurance. I cant wait to go turbo!

I wouldn't worry about an oil cooler unless you in a very high tempature and your oil temps sky rocket. Your oil needs to be at a certain temp for everything to work right.

If you've been running Mobile 1 then yes. You can switch to what ever oil you'd like. Semi-syn or a regular conventional.
