What NOT to do when going FI
I've got another...
Dont leave your car up on jackstands all weekend in your apartment complex while you are installing the turbo. The other residents start to bitch that some dumb kid might play under the car and it might fall off the jackstands and kill the stupid kid.
Also, I just wanted to bring this thread back from the dead...missed it

****, thats great, I love this thread, so now I ask the question, who wants to write up the ultimate turbo DIY, and post it so we can debate what needs to be added/taken out/changed?

1.dont go buying the biggest turbo u can find just cause u can afford it...buy according to your complete setup/hp/ET goal etc..
2. dont go buying a 1200 dollar manifold if u dont need it..(unless u just want the bling
) put your money towards something more important like fuel manag..etc......note: many cars have made over 500+hp on a log manifold or equivilant..
3. dont go buying a super duper skyline GTR 5 core 60x20" intercooler cause u think it looks cool and u like cutting up your bumper...
research before u buy any product!!!

i should've researched more before i jumped into it, gotten hondata and have a clean engine bay without all that junk the drag3 kit comes with (FMU, inline fuel pump, missing link) or i should've gone with the greddy kit cuz it gots injectors and e-manage already but can't boost more.
