Default What kinda of damage?

I was racing a prelude today from a roll in first. I punched it started to do the "turbo mafia shuffle" (spinning the tires and hauling *** forward) so shifted into second and just let them scream. Right before redline I shift into third then in a split second I'm bounching off the rev limiter so I shift into fourth, thinking this is kinda weird, then all of the sudden I'm bounching off the rev limiter again. Smoke is everywhere. I know it's most likely my clutch since it stock, but what other kinda of damage to the motor or anything else should I look for. BTW, this is for an LS with a stock bottom. The highest I saw my revs were about 7400 rpm.

Thanks

Probably not any damage to the motor but you really gotta replace that clutch. Stock can't hold boost very well. If you're paranoid you can always do a compression test.

Doesn't the stock ECU use a fuel cutoff when revlimit is hit? I would think that would be a bad thing for turbo.

I smoked my stock clutch in a few thousand miles of driving with boost. Third and fourth gear was the killer. Never replaced a clutch before. It's a PITA.

wouldn't worry too much about the motor. just don't make it a habit of bouncing off the rev-limiter on while you're boosting.

definitely time for a new clutch.

Thanks for the good responses. I have a cluctchnet clutch sitting in my room, its been there since feb next to my quaife . I guess after 2yrs boosting on a stock clutch it time to replace it. BTW, are there any good sites with pics on how to install a lsd?

I think fuel cut off is @ 7200rpm and redline is 6800rpm on my '98, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I really don't drive it that hard. Plus, it's not my daily driver.
