Default what kind turbo is this?

hey all, just picked up my turbo **** here and the one on the auction says:
Garrett t3/60-1 turbo .63 a/r ... but when i compare it to an SC61 that I have sitting here, it seems a tiny bit larger. on the compressor side it says A/R .70, part # says 715583-5006 . Does any one know what kind it may be?

what size housing do you have on your 61mm? E = .60a/r S= .70 a/r

count how many blades the 60-1 has? Should be 7.

So whats the "name" of the turbo? Is it sufficient enough for a single cam or too big?

Its a Garrett model and for a single cam it may be a little laggy.

Looks like a T3/60-1 with a newer compressor housing.

-60-1 compressor wheel with a max flow rate of 61 lb/min
-0.70 AR compressor housing
-Good to 520 whp.

-Stage 3 or stage 5 turbine wheel available
-0.48, 0.63, or 0.82A/R. turbine housing available
-4 bolt standard turbine discharge
-360 degree thrust bearing.

It really isn't an efficient use of money to swap from a 60-1 to an SC61 if he already has the 60-1, as I'm guessing the SC61 isn't his.

stock block? built motor? specs... it all depends.. id say for a stock block you wouldnt be able to utilize the full potential of that turbo
