alright guys my cars going to be going turbo before long but i have a question as to what downpipe i can use to bolt up to an ihi rhb5 turbo. is there one off another car or is it something that i'm going to have custom made? thanks in advance

 

I think you're better off getting it custom made at a local muffler shop.

 

dont do a muffler shop they crimp the bends and its just not as good as iff you do mandrel. Buy a 2.5" or 3" exhaust mandrel U bend from Summit I thik there about 25 dollars get a hacksaw or pipe cutter and make your own then take it to a muffler shop or welding place and have it welded together shouldnt have more than $40 or so in it and a little time fitting it up.

 

if i was to go to a muffler shop and have them make me one say with mandrel how much on an average does it cost? from personal experience's?

 

my guess is unless you fit it up and cut the pipe up and run it for yourself is that a muffler shop wont touch it. I could be wrong though. If they did do it and you brought them the piece of mandrel piping it would probably be about 75-100 for them to fit it up and weld it.
