Default What is a good turbo to use on a D Series ?

Hi im woundering what is a good Turbo to us on a D series engine. I have a 93civic with a DX engine im a daily driver that wants some more power and fun. I think i will run about 7psi. In plan to swap a d16z6 in next year and use the same turbo so i want a turbo that will be good 4 both?... thank alot

If you are for sure gonna get a z6 i would look for a garret t3 thats what im running on my z6 and it spools up quick runs really hard

cool with a t3 what size would be nice 42/48? would it be good for street driving? are they lagy?

greddy 15g -> Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbine. This **** spools hella quick on my D16Y8 motor and if you're not too careful, you may actually hit 1-2 psi when you are only 1/3 part throttle!

try the edelbrock kit for d-series...its the most complete...pricey tho

if your going homemade, try and grab a big 16g from the evo viii's most of those guys are starting to upgrade, or from the srt-4's both of those cars are fairly new so i'm sure you could find a turbo in ready to use condition

I want to make a Custom kit, and run low boost to be safe want to be faily reliable on the dx engine. When i get my d16z6 i well run more boost and my goal will be 180hp but thats probly next year. what turbo should i look for? thanks alot...

what would u say is best on 7psi? t3,14b or t25 for a fun daily driver car thanks every one
