what ecu to use for hondata and gsr with stock intake mani?
i am using a gsr p72 ecu with my gsr b18c1. i am going to get hondata today but no ecu included. i dotn want to chip m p72 ecu i would like to keep it as a back up. i was going to go and get a p28 ecu and get that chipped for hondata. can the p28 ecu be programmed to open the secondary butterflies for the gsr intake manifold?

i thought that if you hada gsr motor that still used the secondaries then you needed a ecu that originally opened them. meaning i have to use a p72 if i want to use my secondaries. is there anyone that can prove me wrong?

you supposedly can use a p28 and use hondata's nitrous control to control your secondaries. i have not actually tried this, but i remember doug from hondata talking about this.

The newer Hondata setups (S100/S200) have 2 auxiliary outputs that can be used for the butterflies or nitrous control.

Really? That's strange, on my GSR Frank left the runners open with the P28.
