Default what ecu

i just have a quick question for you guys. what would be easier better in the long run, im doing a turbo setup on my b16a sir2 and i was wondering if i should go buy a p28 and get it chipped or run the p30 and get that chipped?

any advice is better than none,

Buy hondata. Mugan, Skunk etc chips are all ****!

Get it chipped...with what? If its a eBay chip, don't bother - VERY few of them ever come with maps for anything over 1psi. If its uberdata and you're willing to invest in a laptop & wideband, by all means do so. I'd suggest the P28, more on a basis for availibility. If you don't want to do much work, go with Hondata & get tuned. Despite being 10miles from kingmotorsports.com's Wisconsin shop, I'm not about to spend that much cash - instead I bought a laptop and wideband.

Which one do you have right now? from the way I read your post it sounds like you already have the P30. If you already have the P30 then you could just chip that. If you dont have an ECU at all then the P28 might be a better choice because they can be bought for as low as $100-$130 unchipped.
