What to do with your Vacuum Components?
I guess there is still one concept I cannot figure out about turbos. If your intake is at a positive PSI greater than 1 in your intake, how does the vacuum components attached still work?

well on my car the only thing that worked off of vacuum was the brake booster and basically you can put a check valve on it to prevent it from seein pos pressure but i ran mine as it came stock. how often are you going to hit the brakes while in full boost? never so asa you let off the gas to hit the brakes the brake booster sees vac. i ended up swapping to a manual setup for other reasons. thats all i can answer for you and if my answer is wrong or misleading i am sorry

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: What to do with your Vacuum Components?
None of the vacuum stuff works except the brakes. What do you think a brake BOOSTER is? It's a storage tank for vacuum - this is why there is a check valve. It fills up with the maximum vacuum achieved during engine braking for thag moment when you are WOT (even N/A) and have to slam on the brakes.
The only way to get around this is to setup a vacuum pot the same way as the booster, even then it will only last so long. I actually like losing vacuum on turbo vehicles, it makes my cruise control act like a boost cut for those highway trips.
