Default forces induction and braking

with positive pressure in the intake manifold, won't it be harder to press on the brake pedal without the vacumn assist?

Check Valve doesnt allow boost to pressurize the booster, therefore it is no more difficult then a stock motor while hitting zero vacuum and hitting the brake.

I still don't see how you are confused about this. What situation arises that you need brakes AND WOT at the same time?

i think i get it now. when you're not on the gas, you get negative pressure back in the intake manifold. is that right?

Unless you are in boost I think it will be normal as far as breaking goes, im not sure 100% but that is what I have gathered from what has been said here so far.

Race track/autocross and brake boosting don't pump the brakes enough or don't go to WOT hard enough respectively that boosting and braking would be a problem. So I guess I have to clarify sorry

yes... sort of.

When you are not in boost you suck the air out of the brake booster. The brake booster is like a holding tank with negative pressure - the check valve quickly closes as soon as the booster starts to de-pressurize, keeping the brake booster de-pressurized.

Assuming you are using your right foot for braking, as soon as you take your foot off the gas the throttle plate closes, creating vacuum in the intake manifold.

i.e. - There will be no difference in braking.

only a car with an auto trans that has no check valve in the line while up on the converter. we didnt have this issue in the t type, we had hydraulic assisted brakes.
