Im trying to find a b18c block for a street turbo build up for my Integra. If he still has the block I'll ask to see some pictures. if it seems all right I'll offer him $250. What should I look/ask for before I offer him $. What does this mean "ridge is in spec as well as out of round and taper"
Thanks for all the help!

I wouldn't buy anything over the internet man, if you can't see it in person I wouldn't do it. Always buy something that you can look at and check out in person. I know its cheap but they're maybe something wrong that you dont know about.
I know what your sayin. I wish I didn't have to resort to the internet, but my area is kinda blocked off from the import world. I would have no problem if I were lookin for a chevy or ford block, I could get one for like $50 buscks probably, but no chance of a b18c block. I only know of 3 GSR's in my area and I doubt any of them would sell me their block. I know, Im going to be different and try to stuff a 350 v8 in my integra, it will screem!!!!

Ridge= The top ridge due to material push-up by the piston rings.
Out of round= The "roundness" of the cylinder.
Taper= Difference in diameter between the top of the cylinder and the bottom.
All within spec is good, but a true blueprinting would be better.

I don't plan on using the block as is. I will have it sleeved by Golden Eagle. Je pistons, Eagle Rods.

besides like a hole in the side of the block, would anything that could be wrong with it be fixed by a machine shop. Maybe while it is being sleeve at Golden Eagle?
