Default What compression level for 6lbs-7lbs?

Hi had a few questions. First, Do I need to lower compression for 6 to 7 pounds of boost on a B18C1? If I go any higher, can I just stick with the same compression and run a higher octane gas to prevent detonation (and replace my pistons with forged, but same specs as my cast ones)? I was looking at hondmod2.com and there was a post about this but I thought maybe you all could answer it better then people there could. Thanks for the help.

You don't need to lower the compression period. You can run 7psi easily...and when you want more, introduce more fuel and tune accordingly.

6 n 7 pds in a b18c1 should be just fine with stock internals, and stock compression. If you are aiming for over 11pds then that is when I say build ur **** other then that you are fine.
