That's subject to use of the car. Considering you're using an expensive item like the FP3786, I'd say anything 9.0:1 and over are pretty good for a honda with such a large turbo.

Guess I'm trying to figure out what you're really asking

Everyone should list fuel and power you are making, not just compression.

Lets keep this thread going. Who else is making big power 500+ with high comp on E85?

Im rebuilding my engine with 11.5 compression this winter. Shooting for 600 on E85.

Is this going to be street driven or track only?

Is 11:5 considered to still be rather high even with e85 as a fuel source for a boosted application making that kind of power?

Ive seen alot of 10:1, 10:5, or 11:1 set-ups but ive never seen any build using higher than 11:1 comp w/e85 or pump gas that is driven other than pure track cars.

Just curious for my own build....ive got 11:5 pistons laying around ATM but thought they would be "too high" comp for a car seeing alot of street miles...but the higher comp would be nice for guys running larger t4 turbo's and wanting that quicker spool or engine response while off boost...

Thoughts?

i'll stick to my sub 9.5:1cr....i can pump 91 into it and not worry about it...or run 94oct pump and run high enough boost that will be plenty powerful enough.

GSR w/ls crank eagles/srp's - 9.6:1 comp
sc60e turbo, spa cast top mount
CTR cams, supertech valve, omni springs, stock port head
victor IM, STR 70mm TB
406whp on 93 pump

car runs great out of boost, very snappy throttle responce, throttle responce will pick up from a TB and good ignition system over a few tenths in compression

digital sol - its a street car that is not daily driven. Pretty much only driven to the dyno and track. Does that make it a race car? lol
Mr. johnson - you could easily do 9.5 on pump gasoline. Way higher on E85.
