what are cold bent pipes? same/different from mandrel bent?

what are cold bent pipes? same/different from mandrel bent?
i found a local metal fabrication company that offers cold bent pipes. anyways, i was wondering if this is the same as mandrel bent pipes or it is the same crush bending that most muffler shops do. lemme know, thanks.
