twin discs arent sprung. thats why.

whp isnt the issue. wtq is.

ask yourself these questions:

budget, use, dd?

remember, if you are going to race the car, staging and preloading wreaks havoc on a clutch. and the only to handle the heat,, is with 2 discs. just think about that.

personally i dont think my exedy is that bad.

Normally the torque that follows 600hp is kind of on the edge of needing a twin disc. I don't think they're that terrible, just need to get used to it.

Like above, single's are gonna get their asses kicked at the track with that power.

I understand whp isn't the issue. I was just throwing that number out there figured you guys would have a better idea of a tq number. Car will not be a dd. Anyone ever have a tilton twin and try a different twin? If so any better?

Ok what about a setup that will be around 500 whp and let's say high 300's wtq? Single disc? Which one?

look into some of the ACT street and race setups. 6 puck sprung can hold 300 wtq.

my CC stage 5 sprung held 420 ftlbs without the upgraded pp is its worth anything. thats more torque than i made at 613whp on another setup, and more torque than some people are using to make 700+whp. so it all depends.

why don t a clutch company copy an nsx s stock twin disc sprung setup and sell it
it doesn t make noise like excedy and it holds alot of power
