Default Clutch for a daily drive??

Hi guys.

Well since i´m going turbo i´ll be needing a clutch also. for my civic Sir B16A2 ´00. aiming 280-320 WHP and 280 tq. it´s my daily drive. i´d seached but not getting the right answer. so i need some input from thouse who have a turbo for DDrive. on which one to go.
Some ppl say exedy others act. with 6 puck or just the street disc. any ideas for stop and go peak hours on heavy traffic.

Thanks. H-t Members.

whatever you get, make sure its a sprung hub disc.whether it be a six puck 3puck or organic street disc..edit: actually the street disc organic probably wont be enough clutch for that HP

I've daily driven unsprung 6-pucks, and they're not so bad once you get used to them. You just have to live with a little chatter/squealing when taking of fin first, and stop and go traffic can get annoying. For that HP, you probably want something with a dual diaphragm pressure plate. A kevlar disc will engage nice and smooth like stock, but they don't like excessive heat. If you're going to beat on it a lot(generate a lot of heat), then you'd probably want a puck style disc.

i agree, but as far as keeping the tranny in tact i wouldnt recommend an unsprung disc for a street car..

I had an exedy stage 2 on my turbo b16 making 318 daily and it drove it for 1500 miles with no problems. I just upgraded bc I built my bottom end and want to make around 425.
