Default What can I expect to boost with...

a 94 GSR with stock internals. Here's my setup. I have a turbonetics t3/t4 (60 trim) kit with aem fuel rail and regulator, bbk 255 pump, greddy spec 2 boost controller, 2.5inch downpipe back exhaust w/no converter, RC 750cc injectors and Hondata s200b with 3 bar upgrade (injectors and hondata not installed yet.) The car has about 96,000 miles on it and is a stick ofcourse. I plan to build the block in the winter. I want to have some serious power, but I cant afford to blow my motor...yet! I wont have a beater car until fall. Anyways, what's the highest I can go (with a good tune) without ******* up my motor? Thanks for the help in advance!

It varies from engine to engine.

Try to stay under 300 hp if you don't have another whip yet.

Boost really has nuthing to do with it because 10psi on a t-25 and 10psi on an SC61 are completly different and since u dont even know the trim of ur turbo itll be hard to say a boost level. But as stated b4 just keep it under 300 and itll be ok with a good tune.

Im not the idiot who just bolts on and doesnt know anything, so please dont think of me that way!! Its a 60 trim. I know that boost varies for each turbo. Im asking what the most boost is that I can or want to push with a stock B18C1. Some say up to 14psi, but that's pushing it. Someone know or have opinions?

Well when u post and u say u dont know what trim it is that kinda makes it hard to determine now dont ya think? With the 60 trim i would say no more than 10psi to keep it safe and reliable.

That is like an oxymoron.. Saying you don't know anything, then showing us that you really don't know alot. No offense.

But as I tell others, Boost AS MUCH as it will take to get the power you want, safely.

If I were you I would boost under 10psi as everyone else is saying. I also might thinking about getting a beater car sooner, building your block sooner, and therefore being able to create more power and also know your engine is realiable. Don't say that you can't afford a beater car till the fall, you have kidney's, don't you?
