im getting ready to go turbo but i want it to last (duh) i wanna make like at least 325whp. so what should i do to my engine now for it to be able to handle the power? i have a GSR with itr cams, aem CAI, DC header, crower valve springs. but a stock block : / so what should i do to prepare? pistons and such?

aftermarket pistons and rods help, but most of all it needs a good tune...you could do 325hp on stock block just make sure you have a tuner that knows what he's doing

a few things you can do, might be obvious to some but here we go:
-check your oil often, change it if it looks bad, dont rely on mileage
-get a good PCV setup going
-keep an eye on your water temps, get an oil temp gauge if you can
-dont use cheap gasoline
the rest is in the tune

black oil means its working, not that its necessarily bad.
anyway, op has lots of SEARCHING to do.

thats debateable, my oil was always fresh and clean when i was NA even after 3000mils of hard driving, the inside of the motor was so clean you could eat off it. however on turbo cars i was more referring to the consistency, if it looks watery change it...
