what can cause boost hesitation?
hello everybody.
this is my setup.
D14A4
T3 .48 .67 (internal gate)
SMIC
2" from turbo to ic
2.5 from ic to TB
450's
SAFC
whan i cruise around the car reacts fine. but when its beginning to boost it has some kind of hasitation from 3500rpm to 5000, and than from 5000-7000 it settled down and continue to boost.
i checked all charge pipes and no leaks.
what can cause such a thing?
EDIT:almost no detonation NO pinging

Re: what can cause boost hesitation? (RACEPAK)
Running rich? My car does that sometimes. When I mash the throttle the untuned ECU will sometimes freak out and drop my AFR to 10.5:1, and it will hesitate for a split second until the short-term fuel correction fixes the AFR.
