I bought a head the other day and was told it had Type R cams in it. Just wanting to make sure that they are infact Type R's.

The weird thing is they aren't marked with an I or E (intake/exhaust) one has a K, the other has what looks like an S or 5?

yeah I have seen that picture before. Apparently the intake is an ITR and exhaust is a CTR from what I see. The K and 5 marking threw me off

 

Yes, those do indeed appear to be ITR cams. Keep in mind the CTR and ITR exhaust cam were exactly the same throughout the years.
