yup ur trap speeds are on the mid 13 sec side but ur 60ft needs to be lower.
since ur in a hatch i would think ur times could be much lower once u work on ur launch and 60 ft.

keep practicing and dont get discouraged.

Actually, your traps are tickling high 12's for a CX (106mph). A 2.2 60', 104+mph trap and only 14.0-14.1.. something is wrong there, are you spinng down the track or something? My 1/4 mile times were 14.1 @ 100.7 with a 2.4 60' in a heavy *** EX coupe, worse 60' time but same 1/4 E/T/ with a slower trap.

it is not so much the spinning as i am bogging it coming out of the hole.
it usally goes good through first but then when i bust 2nd the car bogs, i think that i am shifting to early..
the car usally comes out real good and just starts to spin but stops and starts to pull, so i shift to 2nd early thinking that it is going to spin up on to the rev limiter, and i dont want that because that just slows me way down sitting the bounceing on the rev limiter.

keep trying and make us proud.

lets say the usual things you should already know... mash the gas then feather, double clutch and dont granny shift it... err, im bored. (was that even the slightest bit funny?) anyway man, keep practicing. every stop light is a potential chance to practice.

Sounds like you need to hold the revs up higher when you go to launch. With the Drag radials you can do that without too much wheelspin off the line. Try it out. You should have better times that way.

Try to launch higher (right under your peak torque) and slip the clutch real fast. Don't drop it. Once you modulate the clutch as you should, you should get a very good launch that way.

What rpm are you launching at?

ok. heres what i noticed about your times.

1/8 mph- 78-79
1/4 mph- 104-106

now that is a 26mph gain in the top end. It seems ur 1/8 mile goes really slow. and w/ ET's of 9.3 something is not going right after the luanch. maybe ur car just isnt making the power it should be in the low gears or maybe its something u an attribute to driving.

those tires will hook. HEAT THEM UP! white smoke the **** out of em and turn the wheels while u burn out to make sure u get all of the tire hot. u probably know to run around 15psi of pressure. do a 2nd gear burn out. I launch around 4500 and the car just hops off the line and hits boost right away. this is an LS turbo, u might be able to luanch even higher. 230/190 in a hatch, u could be pulling off high 12's @ 110 if u can improve what is going on in the 1/8 mile.

btw, my 1/8 mph is 83mph when I trap 104mph in the 1/4.

If I could pull 1.9's on drag radials I could hit 12s. I need to get a set and try them out.
