Default Weird Uberdata 1.7 datalogging issue

I'm using the nokia phone cable with uberdata 1.7 and my plx-m300 WB. The phone cable is in COM 1 and is running at 38400bps. When it tries to datalog, the numbers jump back and forth, one number being the correct reading and another being way off. For example, the rpms will read 850 then drop to 52 then back to 850 fairly quickly and continue to do this. Then when I go to the lambda log, it will fill in a couple boxes, but then it stops. Any ideas on what could be cuasing this?

yeah Uberdata 1.7's datalogging sucked ***. Grab the "unofficial" 1.70 release, it works much better.

Also check your J12... If you have J12 removed, some versions of the datalogging code get pissed off and don't work.

I haven't mucked with it, so maybe I shouldn't waste the bandwidth... Is Andy/B/wtfever planning on tweaking things so that datalogging code works with J12 removed, if it hasn't already been taken care of on 1.70?

Full duplex pls.
