Waterspraying on i/c @ Audi S3 test-results
Car specs: 1.8 litre 20V DOHC engine turbocharged at 265 bhp with chipped ECU and cat back. Removed rear-seats, spare tire, running on 8x17 Superleggeras.
4 nozzels in place before the intercoolers (this car has 2 little coolers on each side). Nozzels are activatied by switching a button in the cockpit. Water is sucked by a pump from the windshiel-washer-tank.
Two testdrives on a straight hill road hitting 165 KmH WITHOUT spraying
Two testdrives on the same street, but with spraying: 170 kmH
This was yesterday in the evening where the temp was only 22 Degree C.
This should be more efficient with 35 Degree C.
