I cant seem to find specifics on the kit... even at GReddy's website(very limited info on their products..argh!)...
So,

1. I am assuming that the Turbo has an Internal(aka Integral Wastegate)??
2. Does the kit come with a pipe that is modified to allow the connection of a BOV?
3. Does the kit come with a BOV???
4. The Black Box.. I assume, cuts specific signals going to the MAP sensor?
5. When installing, how many people installed the Oil drain plug themselves? welded or screwed in the plug?

1. It does have an internal wastegate
2. You will have to drill the hole on the pipe and buy a steel flange, then weld it on the pipe, then you can mount your BOV
3. The kit DOES NOT come with BOV
4. I don't think they come with the BLACK box anymore, it's now the BLUE box, it adds more fuel, and yes, MAP sensor trick
5. i don't quite get what u said about OIL DRAIN PLUG....

Blue box...does anyone know any specifics on this thing? I'm assuming it is a MAP limiter and shifts the signal down (lowers injector duty cycle) to allow larger injectors to idle alright? Does anyone have one they'll let me have? I'll pay shipping. I'm working on designing my own fuel management and I'd like to see how this works.

hah, and to think me and my buddies were playing hacky sac with my old blue box at the track.... dammit.

The Greddy kit is only good if you are interested in being carb legal IMHO. I eventually pulled out the blue box in favor of a HONDATA. The blue box ran me waaay to rich. I feel that i've thrown some money away with the GReddy kit because it doesn't come with an intercooler, no BOV, and I had to replace the blue box.

BUT I DID PASS SMOG!

hmm...so, I take it you don't have a "working" blue box anymore?

I know it's not supposed to be good. I'm not wanting to use it or duplicate it, but just see how it works to get some ideas...if someone has some pics of the internals; that would be rad!

thanks man! I'm not even 100% as to what it does (cept blocks map and allows larger injectors) since the Greddy site is flakey as hell.
