water temp of FI d16?

Default water temp of FI d16?

what should i be expecting for water temps?i have a digital temp gauge.

i dont think the motor type has mnuch to do with it, but i normally see like 190-200 degrees

190-200?is that normal driving?what about if your beating on it some?

that is on a hot day beating on it. it stays constant. doesnt move from reg driving to beating.

k,thanx.im getting around 250 on a sohc.maybe i need to try replacing the thermostat out.

Ouch, you might have done some damage at 250. What does the coolant look like.

In normal driving mine doesn't go above 184.

i blew he headgasket,i have it all fixed now.im just waiting on a new by pass hose to get here today .its turboed and since there might have been head damage i bought a newely rebuilt vtec head for it and put in some arp studs also

the whole set up is fairly new,i just checked the slim line fan i installed and it appears that it was pushing instead of pulling.when the fan is mounted to the back of the radiator,it should be pulling correct?
