Default Water injection or Nitrous?

Down here in texas it is starting to get pretty hot, and I would like to help my car live as long as it possibly can. I have been reading information about nitrous injection and water injection, but I wanted to know a little more about it that I couldn't find from reading.

1) is it possible to hurt your car from using nitrous injection due to the rush of hp, then turbo right after?

2) Which is more efficient at cooling the engine down

3) are there any other ways to cool the engine/turbo down that are more efficient?

thanks guys!!!

You will not lose hp when using water injection!!

Friend's SR20DET with aquamist. Stock bottomend and head with larger injectors, T04S, custom exhaust, TEC3.

with all the variables the same being timing boost temp and whatnot you will lose power!!! Do yourself a favor put a stock car on the dyno. do a pull then put water injection on the same car without changing anything. It will lose power. Now if you change some things you can make more power but just soley buy installing it it will lose power

from all the oldschoolers told me water/methanol combo works best.

Yeah, water injection will make you lose power if you don't do anything else. The advantage is that you can run MORE boost with LESS fuel and MORE timing.

A turbo will also make you lose power, if you don't run any boost
