Default Wastgate clearance?????

Alrigh I'm in the process of installing my turbo kit.

When I was test fitting the manifold,dp,dt,turbo,wg the wastgate is almost hitting the exhaust turbine housing. I tried clocking the turbo but the clearence is the same all the way around.

You could fit one quarter between the wastegate and turbo housing thats it.

Is this going to be an issue, could the heat from the turbo housing mess up the wastegate?

What should I do.

BTW this is a peakboost manifold and tial wastegate.
