I have a T3/TO4E on an D16Y8. AFC Hack for managment, 2.5 inch DP, highflow cat and 2.5 inch exhaust. The gate on this turbo is internal and I only run 9psi. Boost doesn't hit full till 4700rpm. Teh gate seems to be partically always open because the actuator was meant to run bigger boost, so setting the spring for 9 psi is nothing. I'm wondering if I should put on a smaller actuator from a small turbo to keep the gate closed more for better spool, or try a MBC to see if that works?
