wastegate question

wastegate question
when u apply compress air into the wastegate, the valve lifts up and u can hear a little amount of air leaking through the valve guide, is that normal or is it not suppose to leak at all??

You will hear a certain amount. If the seal was air tight the valve would seize. Turbosmart has the tightest tolerences without having operation issues. It takes more precise machining but for a better quality product its worth the little added price.

If you need a new valve let me know I got a buddy in the IE that can hook you up on Turbosmart gates. I aslo have a buddy with a shop in hollywood as well. pm me if you want to upgrade.
