Wastegate Question
I am looking into a turbo setup for my civic, but don't know much about wastegates. I am wondering what .3 or .5 spring means and if the wastegate or spring (not sure) says like 6 psi, is that all that wastegate can handle?
I am looking into a 38mm wg and will be wanting to boost around 10 psi, would I need a "stronger" spring for the wg.

Should mean .3 or .5 bar.
1 Bar = 15psi (about), so that would be 5psi or 8 psi.
It has nothiong to do with how much the wastgate will handle.
Use the spring that comes with it and use a boost controller. (you can get a specific spring if you want though)

The spring means that boost is set to whatever the spring is. You can't run boost any lower than what the spring is, but wiht a boost controller, you could increase it.

I'd get the .5 spring and a boost controller that way you can start at @5psi and can use the controller to bring the boost up 10psi with the turn of a ****.
