Default wastegate pressure line placement...

I was thinking about the wastegate and spool-up... So, the wastegate comes open at full boost and I let off the throttle, pressure will build up in the pipes and the wastegate will stay open until the BOV/BPV clears the excess pressure. If the wastegate line was the teed off the line to the BOV, wouldn't that make the wastegate stay closed, keeping the turbo spinning, but making the BOV do more work? Is there any downside to this idea that anyone can think of? Wouldn't this keep spool times between shifts faster?
