Re: wastegate n bov springs?
for the wastegate spring. say its a 7psi spring, that means you will be around 7psi and wont be able to go any lower can only go higher with a controller. and your BOV spring should prob be the 11psi spring if i had to guess and bov goes off of your vacuum.

Re: wastegate n bov springs?
just checked its large blue which is 14.5. im gonna run 10 psi daily and around 18psi track. so does that mean i have to get another spring that is rated around 10 psi then just use a ebc to jump it up to 18psi??

Re: wastegate n bov springs?
tis is exactly right. with the spring you have now you wont be able to go any lower than 14psi so you will need to get a spring rated for what you want to run then use to bc to set it higher.

Re: wastegate n bov springs?
no it does not need to be the same psi as the wastegate spring. look at your vacuum gauge if you have one see what the vacuum is reading at idle and that is the spring rate that you want for your BOV.

If he has an XS Power BOV, and not a TiAL, then the spring rate instructions will not apply. You will simply need to make sure that the BOV is hooked up to a good vacuum source and that the BOV is in good mechanical condition for it to work properly.
