Wastegate dumptube
After putting my new setup on, my wastegate dumptube doesnt fit in any area, since Im keeping Power Steering and AC. Anyways, my question is, do I really need this dumptube? Also what happens if you had no dumptube on? Would flames or some extreme exhaust gasses come out? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Re: Wastegate dumptube (DvD3)
Use a dumptube to at least allow heat to exit..if no dumptube is used that **** will melt anything in its path..and youll have black soot all over your engine bay..

Re: Wastegate dumptube (Muckman)
not running a dumptube can rob you of a lot of power too. for example if your wastegate dumps right off where your compressor inlet is

I wouldn't try it if I were you.. I fried my alternator by not using a dumptube the first time I boosted.. I figured, "oh it won't hurt anything to try it once until I can get one fitted". That was an expensive mistake
