Default wastegate actuator help needed

i have a custom T25 on my EK and the wastegate is in the way of the fan. so far i made a notch in the fan housing so it fits perfectly but now when i spun the fan it clips the side of the actuator a little bit. is it bad if i trim all 4 fan blades just enough so it won't hit it or cutting the blades is bad overall? i still think even if i get a FAL it'll still be in the way of the wastegate actuator. a lot of people told me to cut the blades so it clears, i just want to get some more opinions and suggestions before i do cut it and this results in something bad. please help

you can cut it but make sure you cut all equally. If not it wobble kinda funny.

....or you can get one of those FAL slim fans.

Jeff, bring the car over. I'll look at it.

You can get much cheaper fans at pep boys that are just as effective.

I have the FAL fans and they cost me $275. I could have better used this money somewhere else.

I'll have to disagree here. I have those fans they suck. If its really hot like 90 degrees out, they have a hard time keeping up unless I leave them on running all the time. This has recently happened due to the fact that I put my ac back and the condensor is now blocking the radiator along with my intercooler.

Hmm all of the setups I saw with the pepboys fans had no issues. Maybe they were just lucky? I know my FAL fans are really really powerful... but it still seems like overkill with that steep of a price.

Hehe, my FAL fans are worth 10 of your fans If you had 10 of your fans installed I bet you would have no cooling issues
