I think you can just adjust the threaded rod (actuator) for less boost, but why?
dont come back and ask which way, cause I need it infront of me to explain.

ive already gone through changing the lenght of the accuator per instructions from this board (longer is less boost btw) but the problem with that is that i am told that the wastegate will open slower... now if it opens slower it sounds like i will have a heafty amount of boost creep. So i want to do it right and lower it the proper way.
edit: or is it close slower? dang...

Well if you get a good electronic boost controller like AVC-R ( I highly recommend) it will keep the wategate shut and will promote spooling.
I run a really small spring in my Tial wastegate. (.35bar) I can drive around on really low boost and then just hit a button on the AVC-R at any time to increase boost instantly.

yeah ive got an avcr (well it was stolen and im looking for another one) but the lowest i can boost on my wastegate is 7.5 thats just the way it is.. so there is no way to lower the boost on an internal wastegate other than lengthening the accuator, eh?
